1. The service
Vintage Trade Thailand provides a curated marketplace and sourcing service. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, submitting a selection or enquiry is a request for availability and a quote—not an ecommerce purchase, reservation or guarantee that an item remains available.
2. Availability and pricing
Vintage pieces are generally one-of-one and may be requested by more than one customer. VTT verifies live availability, current retail or wholesale eligibility, shipping and payment fees before confirming a transaction. First cleared payment secures the items confirmed by VTT.
Obvious display, data-entry or calculation errors may be corrected before payment. If an error affects an amount already paid, VTT will contact you to agree a correction, replacement or refund as appropriate.
3. Sourcing requests
Reference images and supplier examples describe a requested direction, not a promise to obtain an identical item. Quantities, grades, brands, condition, timing and target prices are confirmed separately. Custom sourcing starts only after the scope and any required payment or deposit are agreed.
4. Vintage condition
Vintage and second-hand goods may show normal age, wear, repairs, variation or minor imperfections. Material condition information known to VTT will be included in the listing, quote or direct communication. Customers should ask questions before paying when a particular detail is essential.
5. Payment, shipping and import charges
Available payment methods and any provider fees are confirmed with the final quote. Shipping estimates can change after packing or address verification. Unless VTT expressly agrees otherwise, the customer is responsible for destination-country duties, taxes, brokerage and import compliance.
6. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information; have authority to place the request; inspect the final quote; and use the site lawfully. Automated scraping, abusive submissions, attempts to manipulate pricing, unauthorised access and interference with the service are prohibited.
7. Intellectual property
The VTT name, site design, original text and VTT-owned photography may not be commercially reproduced without permission. Curator, supplier and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify products or sources.
8. Liability and mandatory rights
VTT will provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, VTT is not responsible for indirect losses, customer import decisions, delays outside reasonable control or differences that are inherent in clearly described vintage goods. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Governing terms
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, while preserving any mandatory protections that apply to a customer in another jurisdiction. Transaction-specific written quotes and agreements take priority where they expressly differ from these general terms.
